On the occasion of World Orphans Day, a lively and engaging program was organized on 25th April at the VNIT Campus (VLSC – Adventure Sports Club). Children from Yuvajyothi actively participated in the event, which aimed to provide exposure, enhance confidence, and create a joyful and enriching learning experience.
All the children arrived at the venue by 4:00 PM and were warmly welcomed. The program began with a series of fun games and team-building activities, encouraging enthusiasm, cooperation, and active participation among the children. A physical training session was also conducted to promote discipline and physical fitness.
Following the recreational activities, a formal program was held, featuring vibrant cultural performances such as dances and skits. The participation of another NGO, Ashakiran (girls group), added value to the event by fostering interaction and unity among children from different groups.
In the evening, dinner was served, after which the children enjoyed music and singing performances, creating a lively and cheerful atmosphere. One of the major highlights of the program was the overnight tent stay, where children were involved in setting up tents, helping them learn teamwork, responsibility, and basic outdoor skills.
On the morning of 26th April (Sunday), the children woke up at 5:30 AM and participated in morning jogging and group activities, which energized them for the day. This was followed by breakfast and a creative sketching session conducted with the support of volunteers, allowing children to express their creativity and explore new skills.
Overall, the program was highly successful, providing children with opportunities for learning, recreation, teamwork, and confidence-building. The event created joyful memories and strengthened a sense of unity and togetherness among all participants.
