Dr Ambedkar Jayanti Celebration.

On the occasion of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti, a meaningful and inspiring program was organized at Yuvajyothi on 14th April, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The celebration witnessed the enthusiastic participation of all the children, along with the presence of Director Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro, Fr. Ephrem Kullu, and ICID staff members.
The program was gracefully led by Ms. Margret Kujur. It commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolizing knowledge and enlightenment, followed by a soulful prayer song that created a serene and uplifting atmosphere.
An enlightening session was delivered by Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro, who shared valuable insights into the significance of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Jayanti. He elaborated on the life, contributions, and enduring legacy of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, emphasizing the importance of equality, education, and social justice. Fr. Ephrem Kullu further enriched the session by providing additional information, helping the participants gain a deeper understanding of Dr. Ambedkar’s vision and ideals.
To encourage active participation, an engaging “Speak on the Topic” session was conducted for the boys of YCH, where they confidently expressed their thoughts and reflections. The program concluded on a joyful note with the distribution of sweets to all attendees.
Overall, the celebration was both educational and inspiring, leaving a lasting impression on the minds of the children and reinforcing the values of equality, empowerment, and social responsibility.
