Kranti Jyoti Savitri Bai Phule Balsangopan Yojana is implemented for the care of orphans, homeless and other vulnerable children in the age group of 0 to 18 years in an institutional and family environment. This initiative is undertaken in collaboration with the Women and Child Department, Maharashtra Government.
Under this initiative, children whose parents are unable to take care of them due to various reasons such as disorder (chronic illness), death, separation, or abandonment by one parent or some other calamity, are provided with the monetary Benefit. The NGO staff regularly visit the child who gets the monetary benefit to do the follow up regarding the areas of Health, studies, nutrition and other Living conditions.
