National Girl Child Day Celebration

On the occasion of National Girl Child Day, on 24th January 2026, a meaningful programme was organized at Deputy Signal, Nagpur, with the objective of creating awareness about the rights, safety, and empowerment of the girl child. The event was attended by esteemed guests including Constable Ms. Shilpa Tevre (Police Officer), Father Ephrem, and Childline worker Ms. Minakshi. The programme commenced with an introductory session explaining the importance of National Girl Child Day, followed by a cordial welcome of the guests. Children were sensitized on important topics such as child protection, gender equality, and the overall development and progress of girls in society. The guests shared valuable guidance by citing real-life cases handled at police stations and through Childline services, helping children understand safety measures and the support systems available to them. To ensure active participation and create a joyful atmosphere, various games were organized for the children, and prizes were distributed to the winners, making the programme both informative and enjoyable.
