On 2nd October, Gandhi Jayanti was celebrated at Yuvajyothi with great respect and enthusiasm through a special cleanliness drive. The boys of Yuvajyothi gathered in front of the premises and actively participated in cleaning the surroundings with brooms, dustpans, and bags, picking up litter and arranging the area neatly. Every boy took part in the activity with a sense of responsibility and teamwork, reflecting the values of Mahatma Gandhi who always stressed the importance of cleanliness.
The program was carried out under the guidance of Director Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro, while Fr. Ephrem Kullu also joined and motivated the children throughout the activity. Both Fathers appreciated the efforts of the boys and encouraged them to continue practicing cleanliness in their daily lives. The children learned that keeping the environment clean is not only a duty but also a healthy habit, and the drive became an opportunity for them to understand unity, discipline, and cooperation.
It was more than just a cleaning task—it was an awareness program that inspired young minds to be more responsible citizens. The children felt proud to pay tribute to the Father of the Nation in such a meaningful way, and the atmosphere was filled with energy, joy, and a sense of achievement.
