On 21st September 2025, a medical camp was successfully organized at Asha Balwadi, Hazaripahad, with the cooperation and support of Promarc Hospital Pvt. Ltd. The camp aimed to provide basic healthcare services and spread awareness among the local community about the importance of preventive health measures.
A total of 107 beneficiaries participated in the camp and availed the medical services offered. Out of these, 23 individuals were able to get their Ayushman Cards made, which will further enable them to access affordable healthcare facilities in the future. The presence of the medical team, consisting of Dr. Shubhankar, Nurse Neelima Meshram, and healthcare worker Chitralekha Ghadpalliwar, ensured proper diagnosis and care. Their efforts were supported by Mr. Swapnil Kangale, who assisted in the smooth coordination of the camp. For the smooth functioning of the camp, all the necessary medical supplies and equipment were purchased in advance. The required materials were also brought from Bichayat to ensure that no shortage of resources occurred during the program. Prior to the camp, community visits were carried out to inform residents, encourage them to participate, and ensure maximum outreach.
Overall, the medical camp not only provided immediate health benefits to the people of Hazaripahad but also created awareness about long-term healthcare access through government schemes. The initiative proved to be an important step in ICID’s ongoing efforts towards community health and well-being.
