An Environment Day program was organized at Deepshikha Centre, Pardi on 18th June 2026 with the participation of 43 beneficiaries. The program aimed to create awareness among children and adolescents about environmental protection and the importance of conserving nature.
The event began with a guidance session on “Save Environment,” where participants were educated about environmental conservation, the importance of trees, and ways to protect nature. As part of the celebration, children and adolescent girls actively participated in a tree plantation activity and pledged to contribute towards a greener environment.
The children enthusiastically presented speeches in both Marathi and Hindi on the importance of protecting the environment. They also recited poems and slogans conveying messages about environmental conservation. A street play (Path Natya) on “Save Trees” was performed by the children, effectively highlighting the need to protect and preserve trees for future generations.
To encourage participation and recognize the efforts of the children, prizes were distributed to those who took part in various presentations and activities. Snacks were also provided to all participants. The program concluded successfully with active involvement from the children, promoting awareness, responsibility, and commitment towards environmental protection.
