Yuvajyothi celebrated Constitution Day on 26 November 2025 with active participation from all ICID staff members, Children and the Director, Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro. The programme began with the traditional lighting of the lamp, symbolising knowledge and enlightenment. Participants then offered flowers to the photo of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar and to the Preamble, paying tribute to the architect of the Indian Constitution. This created a respectful and solemn atmosphere for the celebration.
Following this, Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro delivered a short yet insightful talk, highlighting the significance of Constitution Day and explaining how the Constitution functions as the guiding framework of the nation. His words helped the children understand the importance of the values enshrined in the Constitution. After the talk, a short documentary was shown to the children, giving them a deeper understanding of the history and relevance of the day. The children watched with interest and gained valuable knowledge. The programme concluded with all children and staff members reciting the Preamble together, reaffirming their commitment to the fundamental principles of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity.
