Rakshabandhan a sacred festival which highlights the brother and sister’s sacred relation was celebrated at Yuvajyothi. The sisters of our Yuvajyothi boys joined in the celebration of the festival. The most attractive part was the tieing of the Rakhi was done with great devotion by the sisters to our Boys. The Yuvajyothi staff who are fondly called as ‘Didi’ by our boys also tied the sacred tread to the young ones.
Fr. Paul Pereira explained the importance of the day and Fr. Praveen Monteiro, the director told about the sacred relationship of a brother and sister. The family members of the boys took part in the ceremony. All the sisters offered a traditional aarathi. Sweets were distributed in order to share the happiness.
