Event Description:

The awareness session was conducted by Advocate Vaishali Gurdarde and Advocate Neha Deshmukh (Zone-10 NMC Office Counselor) to inform participants about their legal rights and protection laws.

The key topics covered included:

1. POCSO Act: Educating participants about the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act and its significance in safeguarding children.

2. Fundamental Rights: Awareness about the constitutional rights of every citizen.

3. Safety and Security: Discussion on personal safety measures and legal protections available.

4. Violence: Understanding different forms of violence and the steps to prevent and report them.

5. Family Participation: Emphasizing the role of family members in ensuring safety and awareness.

The session was interactive, allowing participants to clarify their doubts and receive legal guidance from the advocates. Real-life examples and practical advice were shared to help attendees understand the importance of legal awareness and self-protection.
