Objectives:
The objective of the event was to raise awareness about the rights and welfare of girls, promote safety, and encourage gender equality. The program aimed to educate students on critical issues such as child rights, personal safety, and the importance of gender equality.

Event Description:
- The event began with the garlanding of the portraits of Savitribai Phule and Subhas Chandra Bose, honouring their contributions to education and social reform.
- Following that, a lamp was lit to mark the commencement of the event.
- All the invited members on the stage were then welcomed.
- Mushtak Pathan (DCPU):
- Delivered important information about Child line, the emergency helpline for children in distress.
- Educated students on the concepts of safe touch and unsafe touch, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and reporting inappropriate behaviour.
- Sadhna Hatwar (Program Officer, Gender Equality):
- Presented detailed information about children’s rights, focusing on the protection and welfare of the girl child.
- Prakash Ledhe (Teaching Extension Officer):
- Conducted a session on education and its role in empowering children, especially girls, with an emphasis on the importance of inclusive and quality education.
- Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro:
- Shared valuable insights on the significance of Balika Divas (Girl Child Day) and highlighted the need for a safer and more equitable environment for girls.
The event aimed to inform and empower students about their rights, safety, and the importance of education, promoting a positive environment for the empowerment of girls. As a gesture of appreciation, the children were given gifts such as stationery, and snacks were provided.
