More than 700 Children from 30 slum communities were the part of the enjoyable day. The program was attended by Mr Vikas Thakre, MLA Nagpur West was the chief guest who congratulated the organiser for organising such a memorable day for the children who truly deserve it.
Women and Child Development Officer Mr. Ranjit Khure, inaugurated the Balmela by Handing over the pots to the children, encouraging them to save the environment. Mr Mushtaq Pathan, Child Protection Officer, Enlightened the children regarding safe touch and unsafe touch. Ms Chhaya Raut, CWC Chairperson encouraged the children to concentrate on their study and safety.
Present were Fr Anthony Dsouza, VG Nagpur Archdiocese, Mr Sanjey Sarwe, Principal SFS college.
Children performed the Cultural event consisting of dances and dramas.
Afternoon was spent with a number of outdoor games for children. Children were happy as they received a number of gifts.
Children were given Nutritious Breakfast and sumptuous lunch and the icecream towards the end of the program.
