The festival of Diwali was celebrated with great enthusiasm and joy at Yuvajyothi on 17th October 2025. The Chief Guest for the program was Mr. Mustak Patan, accompanied by Fr. Paul Pereira and Fr. Ephrem Kullu. The celebration brought together all the Yuvajyothi boys, staff members, and their families, creating a beautiful atmosphere of unity and happiness. The program began with a solemn prayer session, where slogans from different religions were recited to symbolize peace, love, and harmony among all. This was followed by a melodious welcome song presented by the children and the traditional lighting of the lamp, which marked the beginning of the festive event. The Chief Guest, Mr. Mustak Patan, and Fr. Paul Pereira delivered inspiring speeches highlighting the true meaning of Diwali — the victory of light over darkness and good over evil. They emphasized the importance of spreading light through kindness, knowledge, and good deeds in daily life. After the speeches, the Yuvajyothi boys performed a lively dance, spreading cheer and excitement among the audience. Several fun games were also organized by Ms. Margret Kujur, which added laughter and joyful participation from everyone present. Before dinner, all the children and staff members gathered outside the residence to light crackers, which created a bright and colorful display that everyone enjoyed. The evening concluded with a delicious meal shared by all, creating a warm and family-like atmosphere. The Diwali celebration at Yuvajyothi truly reflected the spirit of love, unity, and light that this festival brings to everyone’s life.
