Objective: To celebrate Youth Day and educate children about its significance and the dangers of drug addiction.

Event Description:
On 12th January 2025, a Youth Day program was organized at Yuva Jyoti by the Rotaract Group to commemorate the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. Professor Hina Qureshi and Sumit Vannier led the event, providing insightful information about Swami Vivekananda’s contributions and the importance of Youth Day.
Activities Conducted:
- Future Aspirations: Each child shared their future aspirations, fostering motivation and ambition.
- Friendship Reflection: Children described the good qualities of two friends, promoting positivity and understanding.
- Entertainment Games: Fun activities like Musical Chairs and the Statue Game were organized, bringing joy and excitement.
- Talent Showcase: Children were encouraged to display their talents, and their performances were highly appreciated.
Special Session:
A dedicated session on Drug Addiction was held to educate the children about the dangers of substance abuse. The session began with an overview of what drug addiction is and how it can affect individuals physically, mentally, and socially. The harmful effects of drug use, such as health deterioration, loss of focus, and strained relationships, were discussed in detail.
The session also emphasized the long-term impacts, including addiction’s role in disrupting careers, education, and personal goals.
Children were encouraged to ask questions and share their thoughts, making the session interactive and impactful. The session concluded with a motivational message, encouraging the children to lead a healthy, addiction-free life.
The event concluded with a vote of thanks, acknowledging the efforts of the Rotaract Group and all participants.
