A Kargil Vijay Diwas program was organized by the Indian Centre for Integrated Development (ICID) on 25th July 2026 at Yuvajyoti, Martin Nagar, Nagpur, from 3:30 PM onwards. The program was conducted to honour the bravery, courage, and supreme sacrifice of the Indian soldiers who fought in the Kargil War and to inspire children with the values of patriotism and national service.
The program began with an introduction, followed by the welcome of the chief guests and lamp lighting ceremony. The chief guests, Mr. John Beck (Kargil Jawan), Mr. Azad Singh, Mr. Emmanuel and Fr. Praveen Monteiro, were warmly welcomed by the organizers.
The guests addressed the children and spoke about the significance of Kargil Vijay Diwas, the courage and dedication of the Indian Armed Forces, and the importance of patriotism. They also encouraged the children and youth to develop discipline, love for the nation, and consider serving the country through Army recruitment.
A two-minute silence was observed in memory of the brave martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Kargil War. The participants paid heartfelt tribute to the soldiers with great respect and gratitude.
The program concluded with a vote of thanks, followed by victory slogans in honour of the Indian Army. The event successfully created awareness among the children about the sacrifices made by our soldiers and inspired them with the values of courage, unity, discipline, and patriotism. Overall, the program was meaningful, educational, and inspiring for all the participants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
