On 8th March 2026, the Indian Centre for Integrated Development (ICID), in collaboration with SFS College and Rosary Parish, organized an International Women\u2019s Day program at C.J. Sebastian Hall, Seminary Hills, Nagpur. The event was graced by Chief Guest Mrs. Vijaya Shah (CWC Member), Special Guest Miss Khushi Chaware (Miss Maharashtra), and Guests of Honour Miss Supriya Pundge (PSI), Mr. Abhijit Jha (Corporator), Dr. Deepti Sharma (Dentist), and Mrs. Nikhat Naqvi (HOD, Department of Botany, SFS College). Fr. Praveen D\u2019Souza, Principal of SFS College, and Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro, Director of ICID, were also present.
The program began with a prayer dance and lighting of the lamp, followed by a session by Vandana George from Arun Gas Agency, who shared important information about gas safety and its proper usage. The dignitaries also delivered inspiring talks on women\u2019s empowerment and safety. Dr. Deepti Sharma spoke about dental care and oral hygiene and organized a medical camp with her team.
After lunch, fun games and cultural performances were organized with participation from women of Gittikhadan, Pardi, Sangharsh Nagar, and Hazaripahad. Overall, more than 450 women participated in the program.
