On the occasion of International Women\u2019s Day, a special event was organized under the theme “From Equality to Progress.” Several esteemed guests from various fields participated in the event and shared valuable insights to raise awareness among women.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gas Safety and Awareness Campaign<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Vandana George, Manager of Arun Gas Agency, guided women on the safe use of domestic gas, common issues, and solutions to common misconceptions regarding gas safety.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Mental Health & Stress Management<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Psychiatrist Dr. Pranjali Bhagat spoke about mental stress, daily life challenges, and their solutions. She emphasized the importance of prioritizing mental health and addressed various queries from the attendees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Women’s Safety & Legal Guidance<\/p>\n\n\n\n
PSI Supriya Pundge educated women about crimes against them, legal provisions for their protection, and the “Police Didi” initiative. She also provided insights on cybercrime awareness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Women’s Rights & Legal Awareness<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Advocate Sejal Lakhani explained legal provisions related to women, recent amendments, and the POCSO Act to help women understand their rights and stand against injustice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Education & Women Empowerment<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dr. N. S. Naqvi (SFS College) emphasized the importance of education for women. He highlighted that higher education and skill development are crucial for achieving gender equality in society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Health Camp for Women<\/p>\n\n\n\n
To prioritize women’s health, a medical check-up camp was organized by Dr. Rituja Borkar, Dr. Vaidehi Borkar, Dr. Vaidehi Punshi, and their team. The following health services were provided:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students from SFS College organized sports and recreational activities, and winners were awarded prizes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event concluded with gratitude towards all dignitaries and participants. The program aimed to empower women by raising awareness about their rights, health, and safety, encouraging them to become self-reliant and confident.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
