The program aimed to educate students on critical issues such as child rights, personal safety, and the importance of gender equality.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Present Members:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><em>Mushtak Pathan<\/em> \u2013 DCPU (District Child Protection Unit)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Sadhna Hatwar<\/em> \u2013 Program Officer, Gender Equality<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Prakash Ledhe<\/em> \u2013 Teaching Extension Officer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Ramdas Mandve<\/em> \u2013 Head Teacher<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><em>Shayna Shaikh<\/em> \u2013 GSMT (Gender Sensitization &amp; Monitoring Team) District Coordinator<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Number of school beneficiary students:<\/strong> 287<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em><strong>Event Description:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The event began with the garlanding of the portraits of <em>Savitribai Phule<\/em> and <em>Subhas Chandra Bose<\/em>, honouring their contributions to education and social reform.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Following that, a lamp was lit to mark the commencement of the event.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>All the invited members on the stage were then welcomed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Mushtak Pathan (DCPU):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Delivered important information about <em>Child line<\/em>, the emergency helpline for children in distress.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Educated students on the concepts of <em>safe touch<\/em> and <em>unsafe touch<\/em>, emphasizing the importance of recognizing and reporting inappropriate behaviour.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sadhna Hatwar (Program Officer, Gender Equality):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Presented detailed information about <em>children&#8217;s rights<\/em>, focusing on the protection and welfare of the girl child.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Prakash Ledhe (Teaching Extension Officer):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conducted a session on <em>education<\/em> and its role in empowering children, especially girls, with an emphasis on the importance of inclusive and quality education.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Adv. Fr. Praveen Monteiro:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Shared valuable insights on the significance of <em>Balika Divas (Girl Child Day)<\/em> and highlighted the need for a safer and more equitable environment for girls.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"> The event aimed to inform and empower students about their rights, safety, and the importance of education, promoting a positive environment for the empowerment of girls.
