Aniedi Peter Okure OP<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">2) Adv.Fr.Praveen Monteiro (Director of ICID)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">3) ICID team member, children of centres &amp; women<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Event Description:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 18th January 2025, <strong>Fr. Aniedi Peter Okure OP<\/strong> visited the <strong>Deepshikha Centre<\/strong> at Pardi. Upon his arrival, he was warmly welcomed with a <strong>tilak<\/strong> and a <strong>garland of flowers<\/strong>. During his visit, Fr. Okure interacted with the children and staff, expressing his admiration for the Centre\u2019s efforts in empowering children, young girls, and women through education and social support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Fr. Praveen Monteiro<\/strong> delivered an inspiring speech on the occasion of <strong>Makar Sankranti<\/strong>, highlighting the cultural and spiritual significance of the festival.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">To conclude the event, the women and staff at the Centre organized a traditional <strong>Haldi-Kumkum<\/strong> ceremony. In this ceremony, the women were given <strong>Kumkum<\/strong>, <strong>sesame<\/strong>, and <strong>jaggery<\/strong>, along with a gift as a gesture of love and unity.
